Crazy Time is a live game show from Evolution: a host spins a giant 54-segment money wheel, you bet on where it will stop, and a Top Slot can multiply one bet spot before the result. Four bonus games, Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko and Crazy Time, carry the biggest multipliers. Below, we explain how Crazy Time and the other live game shows at ChampBet work, with RTP figures only from official sources.

How do live money wheel game shows work?

A money wheel game show is a live round built around a large wheel and a presenter. You bet on the segment you think the wheel will stop on, the presenter spins it, and the segment under the pointer wins. Most shows add random multipliers and bonus rounds on top, which is where the big but rare wins come from.

The common pattern:

  • A betting window. A countdown gives you a few seconds to place chips. In Crazy Time it lasts 15 seconds.
  • Numbers that pay their value. On Evolution’s money wheels, a number pays at its own odds: a winning bet on 5 pays 5 to 1, and on 10 pays 10 to 1.
  • Multipliers. Software adds random multipliers to some segments before or during the spin.
  • Bonus games. Some segments open a separate bonus round. Only players who bet on that bonus take part, though everyone can watch.

How does Crazy Time work?

In Crazy Time you bet on the numbers 1, 2, 5 or 10, or on any of four bonus games. When betting closes, the presenter spins the main wheel while a two-reel Top Slot spins above it. The Top Slot picks a bet spot and a multiplier of up to 50x. If the wheel stops on that spot, the win is multiplied.

Crazy Time at a glance: 54-segment wheel, Top Slot up to 50x, four bonus games, Pachinko up to 10,000x and RTP of 94.41% to 96.08%

Evolution’s official tutorial shows a full round:

The Crazy Time wheel

The wheel has 54 segments. Numbers fill most of it, and nine segments open bonus games, which is why Evolution puts the chance of a bonus round at 1 in 6 per spin.

Segment Segments on the wheel Pays
1 21 1 to 1
2 13 2 to 1
5 7 5 to 1
10 4 10 to 1
Coin Flip 4 Bonus game
Cash Hunt 2 Bonus game
Pachinko 2 Bonus game
Crazy Time 1 Bonus game

The more a segment pays, the fewer times it appears. A ₦500 bet on 10 wins ₦5,000 when it lands, plus your stake, but it lands on only 4 segments out of 54.

The Top Slot

The Top Slot spins at the same time as the main wheel. It lines up one bet spot with a multiplier, up to 50x. If the wheel then stops on that spot, every bet on it is multiplied. A Top Slot multiplier on a bonus game segment carries into that bonus round.

The four bonus games

Bonus game How it works Top multiplier (Evolution)
Coin Flip A coin with a red and a blue side is flipped. Each side gets its own multiplier first. Up to 5,000x with a 50x Top Slot
Cash Hunt 108 random multipliers hide behind symbols on a big screen. You pick your own target, so players win different amounts. Varies by player
Pachinko The host drops a puck down a wall of pegs. “Double” doubles every multiplier and the puck drops again. Up to 10,000x
Crazy Time A virtual wheel behind a red door. You choose a blue, green or yellow flapper, and doubles and triples can boost the wheel. Up to 20,000x

These top figures are rare by design. Most bonus rounds pay far smaller multipliers, and the official How to Play Crazy Time page explains each round in full.

What is the RTP of Crazy Time?

Evolution lists a theoretical RTP of 94.41% to 96.08% for Crazy Time, depending on which bet spot you choose. Out of every ₦100,000 staked across a huge number of spins, roughly ₦94,410 to ₦96,080 goes back to players. That is a bigger house edge than a European roulette table at 97.30%, which our roulette guide explains.

RTP is a very long-run average. Your session can land far above it or far below it. For a plain explanation of the number, read what RTP means.

Other live game shows at ChampBet

ChampBet’s live lobby holds several other game shows. Each one has its own twist on the wheel, the board or the multipliers.

Game Provider How you win Main feature
Monopoly Roulette Evolution Single-zero roulette Bonus numbers send Mr. Monopoly round the board
MONOPOLY Roll ’em Evolution Two dice on a 12-square board Houses boost multipliers up to 300x
Dream Catcher Evolution 54-segment wheel 2x and 7x multiplier segments

Sweet Bonanza CandyLand Pragmatic Play Live Candy wheel Sugar Bomb multipliers and three bonus games
Mega Wheel Pragmatic Play Live 54-segment wheel Mega Multiplier up to 500x

Monopoly Roulette

Monopoly Roulette is a single-zero roulette game with a slot machine that marks some numbers as bonus numbers. A winning straight-up bet pays 19 to 1, and if it lands on a bonus number you go to the MONOPOLY or Community Chest bonus game. For standard roulette bets, see our guide on how to play roulette.

MONOPOLY Roll ’em

MONOPOLY Roll ’em uses two dice and a 12-square board. You bet on where the top hat will land based on the dice total: Low, High, 7 or single numbers. Before the roll, houses appear on random squares and boost their multipliers, up to 300x.

Dream Catcher

Evolution’s first game show uses a 54-segment wheel. On the Dream Catcher page, 52 segments carry the numbers 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 or 40, each paying its own value to 1. The other two are 2x and 7x multipliers: land one and the wheel spins again with the multiplier applied.

Funky Time

Funky Time spins a digital wheel with 24 letter segments that pay 25 to 1 by default, plus bets on the number 1 and four bonus games: Bar, Stayin’ Alive, Disco and VIP Disco. Random multipliers are assigned to wheel segments in each round. Stayin’ Alive climbs a multiplier ladder that tops out at 10,000x.

Lightning Storm

Lightning Storm uses a 39-segment digital wheel. During the spin, bonus symbols and random multipliers of 2x to 50x land on segments, and five bonus games, including Hot Spot, Battery Charger and Fireball, offer multipliers that Evolution says reach 20,000x.

Sweet Bonanza CandyLand

Pragmatic Play turned its Sweet Bonanza slot into a live show. The Sweet Bonanza CandyLand page describes a wheel with six betting positions and three Sugar Bomb segments, which add a random multiplier of up to 10x and a free respin. The bonus games are Sweet Spins (10 free spins on a live Sweet Bonanza slot), Candy Drop (a plinko-style drop with a 1,000x top prize) and Bubble Surprise.

Mega Wheel

Mega Wheel from Pragmatic Play Live has 54 numbered segments and nine betting positions. Win and you get your stake back plus the multiplier for that symbol. Each round, one symbol becomes the Mega Lucky Number with a random Mega Multiplier of up to 500x.

Where do I find the RTP of other game shows?

Of these games, we quote an RTP only for Crazy Time, because that is the one we could confirm on an official page. For every other show, open the help or information screen inside the game. It lists the rules, the payouts and the RTP for each bet, and those figures can differ from one bet spot to the next.

Game shows are fast entertainment

Game shows are built to be fun to watch: bright studios, big wheels and a new round every few moments. That pace is part of the appeal and part of the risk. Treat every stake as the price of the show, not as an investment.

  • Set a budget and a time limit before the first spin.
  • Spread small stakes rather than chasing one bonus game with a big bet.
  • Ignore the statistics panel for picking bets. Evolution itself says past spins cannot predict future ones.
  • Do not chase a bonus round. Bonus games average one spin in six, and the biggest multipliers are far rarer.
  • Stop when it stops being fun. Our responsible gambling guide and the ChampBet responsible gaming page have practical steps.

Frequently asked questions

How does Crazy Time work?

Crazy Time is Evolution's live money wheel game show. You bet on the numbers 1, 2, 5 or 10, or on four bonus games. A Top Slot spins with the wheel and can add a multiplier of up to 50x to one bet spot. If the 54-segment wheel stops on your bet, you win.

What is the RTP of Crazy Time?

Evolution gives Crazy Time a theoretical RTP of 94.41% to 96.08%, depending on the bet spot. So over a very large number of spins, the house keeps roughly 3.9% to 5.6% of all money staked. A single session can finish far above or far below that range.

How often do bonus games come up in Crazy Time?

Evolution says players have a 1 in 6 chance of landing a bonus round on each spin, so on average about one spin in six. Only players who bet on that bonus game take part and can win. Everyone else watches the bonus round play out.

Can you predict Crazy Time results?

No. Evolution states that each spin is independent and that past statistics cannot predict future outcomes. Spin history and tracker sites show what has happened, not what will happen. Anyone selling Crazy Time signals or a winning strategy is selling something the game does not allow.
