Booking Code: How to Create and Load One on ChampBet
What a booking code is, how to create one on ChampBet with Share Bet, how to load a code in seconds, and what to check on the slip before you stake.
In this guide
A booking code is a short code that saves a bet slip, so anyone can load the same selections in seconds. On ChampBet, you build a slip, tap SHARE BET and get a 7-digit booking code to send to friends. To load a code, type it into the Search betting code box above the bet slip. This guide walks through both, shows what to check before you stake, and explains why you should never pay for codes.
What is a booking code?
A booking code is a reference number for a set of selections. It stores which matches, markets and outcomes are on a slip, not money or a placed bet. When someone types the code on the same site, the selections appear in their slip. They then choose their own stake and decide whether to place the bet.
Booking codes are popular in Nigeria because they save time. Instead of sending a friend ten team names and markets on WhatsApp, you send seven digits. A few points are worth knowing:
- A code is not a bet. Creating or loading a code does not place anything. Nothing happens to your balance until you tap BET NOW.
- You do not need to sign in to make one. On ChampBet, SHARE BET works while you are logged out.
- Codes belong to one site. A ChampBet code loads on champbet.ng only, and a code from another site will not load here.
- Your stake is your choice. Whoever loads the code decides how much, if anything, to put on it.
How to create a booking code on ChampBet
- Open the ChampBet sportsbook for upcoming matches, or Live for matches in play.
- Tap the odds for each outcome you want. They turn gold and drop into the bet slip on the right. On a phone, open the slip with BetSlip in the bottom bar.
- Check the slip. With two or more selections from different matches, the header reads MULTIPLE, and the slip shows total odds and the possible win.
- Tap SHARE BET at the bottom of the slip.
- A BOOKING CODE pop-up opens with your 7-digit code (for example, 2386303), a small preview of the slip and the date and time it was created.
- Tap the copy icon next to the code, or use one of the share buttons underneath.

The BOOKING CODE pop-up after tapping SHARE BET on a three-match multiple.
The code also stays at the top of your stake area as Booking id, with its own copy button. Tap BACK TO BET to return to the normal slip if you want to place the bet yourself.
Sharing a booking code to WhatsApp, Telegram and X
The pop-up gives you seven ways to send the code:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Link | Copies a link to the shared slip |
| Download | Saves a picture of the slip to your device |
| Shares to Facebook | |
| X | Posts to X |
| Telegram | Sends to a Telegram chat or channel |
| Sends to a WhatsApp chat, group or status | |
| Shares to Instagram |
When you post a code to a group, add the kick-off time of the earliest match. Once that game starts, anyone loading the code late will find a selection they can no longer back before kick-off.
How to load a booking code on ChampBet
Loading a code takes about ten seconds:
- Go to the ChampBet sportsbook.
- Find the Search betting code box above the bet slip. On a phone, the slip opens from BetSlip in the bottom bar.

- The selections load into your slip.
- Check every selection (see the next section).
- Enter your stake, or tap a quick stake button: ₦5,000, ₦10,000 or ₦50,000.
- If you are not signed in, the slip shows “To place your bet, please Sign in or Register”. Sign in, then tap BET NOW.
Type the code into Search betting code. The Always ask setting sits just below it.

What should you check before staking on a loaded code?
Check three things before you tap BET NOW: that every match is still open, that the odds are what you expect, and that you understand every market on the slip. A code saves selections, not the moment it was made. Prices move, games kick off, and a slip that made sense yesterday may not today.
Run through this list every time:
| Check | Where to look | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Odds | Each selection’s price and the total ODDS line | Prices change between when a code is made and when you load it |
| Started or removed events | Warning signs on a selection, or a “There are deleted events” message | Pre-match selections cannot be backed once the game starts |
| Bet type | MULTIPLE or Single at the top of the slip | A multiple loses if one selection loses |
| Markets | The line under each match, such as MATCH RESULT | Make sure you know what each pick means |
| Stake and payout | POSSIBLE WIN, ACCUMULATOR BONUS and FINAL PAYOUT | Know exactly what you are risking and what could come back |
If a selection shows a warning sign, remove it with the X beside it before you stake. If you are not sure what a market means, our guides to football betting markets and betting terms and meanings explain the common ones.
A loaded three-match multiple: odds 3.20, ₦1,000 stake, possible win ₦3,200, accumulator bonus ₦66, final payout ₦3,266.
Leave the odds setting on Always ask if you want to approve any price change yourself before the bet goes through. And remember that a long code is still an accumulator: every extra leg lowers the chance of the whole slip winning. Our guide to accumulator bets shows the maths.
Why you should never pay for booking codes
You should never pay for booking codes because a code has no value on its own. Anyone can make one in seconds, for free, from any selections they like. A seller cannot know results in advance, so paying for a code means paying for someone’s guess, often from a person whose real income is your fee.
Watch for these warning signs:
- Pay first. Tips sold by transfer before you see them.
- Promises of wins. Talk of “100%” codes, certain results or inside information.
- Pictures of winning slips. The Download button on the share pop-up creates a slip image before any bet is placed, so a picture proves nothing.
- Pressure. Countdowns and “last slots” messages to rush you.
- Requests for your login or SMS code. Never share your password or the 4-digit code ChampBet sends to your phone.

Do booking codes work with ChampBet offers?
Yes, because a loaded code becomes your own bet once you place it. The usual offer rules apply to the bet itself. For example, a multiple of four or more legs, each at 1.40 or higher, with a stake of at least ₦1,000 can qualify for One Leg Down, which gives a free bet if exactly one leg loses. Full terms apply, and the sports betting rules cover how every bet is settled.
Share your next slip
Build your selections on the ChampBet sportsbook, tap SHARE BET and send the code to your group in one tap. If you want to combine several markets from the same match on one slip, see our guide to Bet Builder on ChampBet.
Frequently asked questions
What is a booking code in betting?
A booking code is a short code that saves the selections on a bet slip. Anyone who types the code into the same betting site gets those selections loaded into their own slip, ready to check and stake. On ChampBet, booking codes are 7 digits long and are made with the SHARE BET button.
How do I load a booking code on ChampBet?
Type the code into the 'Search betting code' box above the bet slip and tap the search icon. The selections load into your slip. Check that every match is still open and the odds are what you expect, enter your stake, sign in if needed, then tap BET NOW.
Can I use a booking code from another betting site on ChampBet?
No. A booking code only works on the site that created it, because it points to that site's own events and markets. To copy a slip from somewhere else, add the same selections on ChampBet yourself, then tap SHARE BET to make a ChampBet code you can share.
Do I need an account to create a booking code on ChampBet?
No. You can build a slip and tap SHARE BET without signing in, and the 7-digit code appears straight away. You only need to sign in, with money in your balance, when you want to place the bet yourself.
Should I pay for booking codes?
No. A booking code takes seconds to make and costs nothing, so a seller is only charging you for their opinion. Nobody can know results in advance. Sellers who promise wins, ask you to pay first or want your login details are running a scam.
